Resepi Rendang Daging

Untuk rendang daging, saya guna resepi yang sama dengan rendang ayam. Saya cuma tukar ayam kepada daging je.

Bahan-bahan (5-6 orang)

500 gm daging
8 ulas bawang merah
2 ulas bawang putih
1/2 inci halia
1/2 inci lengkuas
1/2 inci kunyit hidup
7 biji cili padi
3-4 batang serai – dititik
1 sudu besar cili kisar
1 sudu besar kerisik
2 sudu besar rempah gulai cap bunga rose / serbuk kari
1 sudu besar gula Melaka
1 mangkuk santan
5 helai daun kunyit
5 helai daun limau purut
Garam dan gula


  1. Kisar bawang merah, bawang putih, halia, lengkuas, kunyit dan cili padi.
  2. Panaskan minyak, tumis bahan-bahan yang telah dikisar dan serai.
  3. Masukkan cili kisar, rempah cap bunga ros, gula Melaka, kerisik dan santan. Kacau sehingga sekata, kemudian masukkan daging.
  4. Masukkan daun kunyit, daun limau purut, garam dan gula secukup rasa. Masak sehingga kuah pekat.
  5. Siap untuk dihidangkan dengan nasi putih, nasi himpit atau ketupat.

Rempah cap bunga rose ni ada 2 jenis, satu rempah gulai dan lagi satu rempah masak. Untuk rendang, sila guna rempah gulai. Rempah-rempah keluaran Terengganu ni biasa orang guna untuk buah gulai ikan tongkol (nasi dagang), gulai ayam (nasi minyak) dan laksa Terengganu. Boleh google image untuk kepastian. Kalau tak jumpa rempah ni boleh ganti dengan serbuk kari.
